# Choose a plan

> Choose a Free, Basic, or Pro plan so you can start creating flipbooks.

Before you create a flipbook, choose a plan. You can pick Free and start without paying.

If you haven’t chosen one yet, you’ll see **No plan selected** on **Home** and a prompt to choose a plan on **Flipbooks**.

## Pick a plan

1. In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to **Plans**.
2. The app takes you to Shopify’s plan page. If it doesn’t open, click **View plans**.
3. Choose **Free**, **Basic**, or **Pro**, then approve your choice. Shopify shows the price and free trial for a paid plan before you approve it.
4. Shopify brings you back to the app’s **Home** page.

You can also open the plan page from **No plan selected** or **Change plan** on **Home**, or from **View plans** on **Flipbooks**.

## Check that your plan is active

When you return, look for a notice at the top of **Home**:

| If you see                                                   | What to do                                |
| ------------------------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------- |
| “You’re on the Basic plan” (or the name of your chosen plan) | You’re ready to create flipbooks.         |
| “We’re confirming your plan with Shopify”                    | Wait a few seconds, then reload the page. |

You can dismiss either notice. Once Shopify confirms your choice, **Current plan** shows your plan’s name.

## Compare plans

The page limit applies to PDF and image flipbooks. Product catalogs show every page on every plan. All three plans include PDF and image flipbooks, product catalogs, the lightbox, and all viewer tools, with no watermark. > If your PDF or image flipbook has more than 25 pages, choose Basic or Pro if shoppers need to see all of them. See [The 25-page limit](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/billing/page-limit/).
