# Hide or show a flipbook

> Turn off Visible to customers to take a flipbook off your store without deleting it, and learn what changes when you do.

Hide a flipbook when you want to take it off your store for a while but keep it, such as a seasonal catalog. New flipbooks are visible as soon as you create them.

## Hide a flipbook

1. In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to **Flipbooks**.
2. Click the flipbook’s title to open it.
3. In the **Publish** section, uncheck **Visible to customers**.
4. Click **Save**.

In the **Flipbooks** list, its status changes from **Active** to **Disabled**.

## What happens when it’s hidden

- **The public link stops working.** Anyone who opens it no longer sees the flipbook.
- **Theme blocks go blank.** The flipbook is removed from the theme block’s **Flipbook** list, so any block that showed it shows nothing to shoppers. In the theme editor, the block shows a notice instead.
- **The Public link field disappears** from the **Publish** section.
- **The Embed code field stays.** Hiding doesn’t remove the code from other websites where you pasted it. See [Embed on another website](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/storefront/embed-code/).

Hidden flipbooks still count toward your plan’s flipbook limit. To free up a slot, delete the flipbook instead. See [Flipbook limits](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/billing/flipbook-limits/).

## Show it again

1. Open the flipbook and check **Visible to customers**.
2. Click **Save**. The **Public link** field comes back, with the same link as before.
3. In the theme editor, click each **Neo Flipbook** block that showed the flipbook, pick it again in the **Flipbook** setting, and click **Save**.

> Making a flipbook visible again doesn’t put it back in your theme blocks by itself. Re-pick it in every block that should show it. It can take a moment to reappear in the block’s list, so reload the theme editor if it isn’t there yet.

## Hide or delete?
