## What is a flipbook?

A flipbook turns a PDF, a set of images or your products into a page-turning catalog your shoppers can read in the browser. Neo Product Catalog Flipbook makes them for your Shopify store. See [Create your first flipbook](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/getting-started/first-flipbook/).

## What can I turn into a flipbook?

A PDF (such as a brochure, catalog, manual or magazine), a set of page images in JPG or PNG, or a product catalog built from your Shopify products and collections. See [Create flipbooks](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/create-flipbooks/).

## How do shoppers see my flipbook?

Add the **Neo Flipbook** block to a page of your theme, share the flipbook’s public link in email or social posts, or paste its embed code on another website. The theme block can show the flipbook on the page or open it in a lightbox. See [Show on your store](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/storefront/).

## Can I edit a flipbook after sharing it?

Yes, open it from **Flipbooks**, make your changes and click **Save**. The link stays the same, so anyone who already has it sees the new version. To swap the PDF, add new images or change the type, create a new flipbook instead. See [Manage your flipbooks](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/create-flipbooks/manage-flipbooks/).

## Can I change a flipbook’s URL?

No. Each flipbook’s address is set when you create it, and it doesn’t change, even when you change the title. That keeps the links you’ve already shared working. See [Share the public link](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/storefront/public-link/).

## Do flipbooks work on phones?

Yes. The viewer follows the screen it opens on, and shoppers can swipe, scroll or flip through pages. To check, use the **Mobile** preview in the app. See [What shoppers see](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/storefront/what-shoppers-see/).

## How many products can a catalog hold?

Up to 250 products. Pick them one by one, or pull in whole collections (up to 50). See [Choose products and collections](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/product-catalogs/choose-products/).

## Do catalog prices update by themselves?

No. A catalog keeps a copy of your product data from when you built it or last refreshed it. To update it, open the catalog, click **Refresh product data** in the **Products** section of the **Catalog** tab, then click **Save**. ## Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and includes 2 flipbooks, and shoppers see the first 25 pages of each PDF or image flipbook. You still need to choose it before you can create flipbooks. See [Plans and pricing](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/billing/plans-and-pricing/).

## What happens to longer PDFs on the Free plan?

The app saves the whole PDF, and the preview in the app shows every page. Shoppers see only the first 25 pages. Upgrade to Basic or Pro and the rest come back, without saving the flipbook again. See [The 25-page limit](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/billing/page-limit/).

## Does any plan add a watermark?

No. No plan adds a watermark to your flipbooks, Free included. See [Plans and pricing](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/billing/plans-and-pricing/).

## Can I embed a flipbook on a website outside Shopify?

Yes, open the flipbook, copy the **Embed code** from the **Publish** section and paste it into your website. The public link can’t be used for this, because Shopify doesn’t allow store pages to load inside frames. See [Embed on another website](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/storefront/embed-code/).

## Can I hide a flipbook without deleting it?

Yes, open the flipbook, turn off **Visible to customers** in the **Publish** section and click **Save**. Its public link stops working and it’s removed from your theme blocks. ## Where are my files stored?

It depends on how you add them. Uploads go to your store’s Shopify Files (up to 20 MB) or to Managed storage (up to 100 MB), which you manage on the app’s **Assets** page. A pasted link keeps the file on the website that hosts it. See [Files and storage](https://docs.neoflipbook.com/files/).

## What happens if I uninstall the app?

Your flipbooks stop showing on your store right away, and your plan ends, even partway through a paid period. If you reinstall soon after, your flipbooks come back, but you need to choose a plan again and pick each flipbook again in your theme blocks.
