Manage your flipbooks
In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to Flipbooks to see every flipbook in your store, newest first.
The Flipbooks list
Section titled “The Flipbooks list”| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Title | The flipbook’s name. Click it to open the flipbook. |
| Type | PDF, Images or Product catalog |
| Status | Active or Disabled |
| Updated | When it last changed, for example 24 Sep 2026 |
Each row also has a Delete button. Recent flipbooks on the Home page shows your five newest in the same table.
Active and Disabled
Section titled “Active and Disabled”| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | Visible to shoppers. New flipbooks start as Active. |
| Disabled | Hidden from shoppers. The public link stops working, and the flipbook drops out of the theme block’s list. |
To switch, open the flipbook, turn Visible to customers on or off in the Publish section, then click Save. Disabled flipbooks still count toward your plan’s flipbook limit. See Hide or show a flipbook.
Edit a flipbook
Section titled “Edit a flipbook”Click a flipbook’s title to open it. You see the settings tabs, the Publish section and a live preview. As soon as you change something, a save bar appears at the top with Save and Discard. Click Save to keep your changes, and you see “Flipbook saved.” Click Discard to go back to the last saved version.
Saved changes show everywhere the flipbook appears: in your theme, on the public link and in the embed code. The link stays the same. See Customize the viewer.
What you can’t change after creating
Section titled “What you can’t change after creating”| You can’t | What to do instead |
|---|---|
| Replace the PDF | Create a new flipbook from the new PDF. |
| Add images to an image flipbook | Create a new image flipbook with every image. You can still reorder or remove pages on the Pages tab. |
| Change the type, for example from PDF to product catalog | Create a new flipbook of the type you want. |
| Change the link | The link is set when you create the flipbook and stays the same if you rename it. Create a new flipbook with the title you want. |
After you create the replacement, pick it in your theme’s Neo Flipbook block, share its new public link, then delete the old flipbook.
Delete a flipbook
Section titled “Delete a flipbook”Click Delete on the flipbook’s row, on the Flipbooks page or in Recent flipbooks on the Home page. The app asks you to confirm:
Delete “Spring catalog”? Its public link will stop working.
Confirm, and you see “Flipbook deleted.” Deleting a flipbook:
- Stops its public link and embed code working, and removes it from the theme block’s list. A block that showed it now shows nothing.
- Keeps its files. The PDF or images stay in Shopify Files or Managed storage. To remove Managed storage files, use the Assets page.
- Frees a place in your plan’s flipbook allowance.
