Viewer colors
Viewer colors set the look of the viewer around your pages, such as the background behind the book and the toolbar. They don’t change the pages themselves. Where you set them depends on the flipbook type.
PDF and image flipbooks
Section titled “PDF and image flipbooks”- In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to Flipbooks and click the flipbook’s title.
- On the Flipbook tab, click Appearance to open the section. It’s closed by default.
- Pick a theme or a palette, or set your own colors.
- Click Save.
The section gives you three ways to color the viewer:
| Option | Choices |
|---|---|
| Theme | Light (default), Dark or Sepia. Each card shows a small “Title / Body & link” sample in its colors. |
| Color palette | White, Slate, Wine, Forest, Ocean, Terracotta, Sand, Blush or Plum. Each card shows the palette’s three colors. These are the same palettes product catalogs use for their pages. |
| Custom colors | Your own Background, Text and Accent colors, as six-digit hex values such as #1f6f8b. |
Only one of these applies at a time. Picking a theme or a palette replaces what you had before. Editing a custom color takes over from both, as the note in the section says: “Editing a color takes over from the theme or palette above.”
The Custom colors fields always show the colors in use. To start from something close to what you want, pick a palette first, then change just one color. If you type a value that isn’t a full hex color, the app keeps the last valid color.
Product catalogs
Section titled “Product catalogs”A product catalog has no Flipbook tab. Its viewer colors are set with the Theme select on the Appearance tab: Light (default), Dark or Sepia.
This only colors the viewer around the pages. The design of the catalog pages themselves, such as their fonts, colors and palette, is on the Catalog tab. See Themes, colors and page size.
