Every visible flipbook has a public link on your store’s own domain. Shoppers who open it see the flipbook full screen. Use it in emails, social posts, ads or your store’s navigation menu.

  1. In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to Flipbooks.
  2. Click the flipbook’s title to open it.
  3. In the Publish section, find the Public link field.
  4. Click the copy button next to the field. A “Copied” message confirms it.

The link looks like this:

https://your-store.com/apps/neo-flipbook/flipbook/...

The last part is made from your store’s name, a number and the flipbook’s title when you create it.

The flipbook fills the browser window, and the browser tab shows the flipbook’s title. The page has no theme header, footer or menu, so the flipbook gets the whole screen.

  • It uses your primary domain. The link uses your store’s primary domain, such as mybrand.com. Right after you install the app, it may briefly show your myshopify.com address instead. That link still works: Shopify sends shoppers on to your primary domain.
  • It only works while the flipbook is visible. The field shows only when Visible to customers is on and saved. Hide the flipbook and the link stops working. See Hide or show a flipbook.
  • Editing keeps the same link. The link doesn’t change when you save changes or rename the flipbook, so anyone who has it sees the latest version.
  • It can’t go inside an iframe. Shopify doesn’t let store pages load inside frames, so the link shows blank if you embed it on another site. Use the embed code for that.

By default, every public link uses the path /apps/neo-flipbook. You can change it in Shopify to something that suits your store, such as /tools/catalogs.

  1. In Shopify admin, go to Settings → Apps.
  2. Click Neo Product Catalog Flipbook to open its details page.
  3. In the App Proxy URL section, click Customize URL.
  4. Choose a prefix: a, apps, community or tools.
  5. Enter a subpath of up to 30 letters, numbers, hyphens (-) or underscores (_), then save.
  6. Copy any public link from the app, replace /apps/neo-flipbook with your new path, and open it in your browser once.

Opening a link with the new path is how the app learns about it. From then on, the Public link field shows the new path for every flipbook.

If a link isn’t opening, see Public link isn’t working.
