A product catalog is a snapshot of your products. Neo Product Catalog Flipbook copies each product’s title, description, price, image and link at these moments:

  • when you build the catalog in the create wizard
  • when you change the selection in the Products section of the Catalog tab
  • when you click Refresh product data

The catalog doesn’t update automatically, on any plan. If you change a price, title, image or description in Shopify, or you archive or delete a product, shoppers keep seeing the old details until you refresh the catalog and save.

  1. In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to Flipbooks and click the catalog’s title.
  2. On the Catalog tab, click Products to open the section.
  3. Click Refresh product data. The date next to the button updates, for example “Product data from 11 Sep 2026”.
  4. Check the preview and any messages above the sections.
  5. Click Save.

The date next to the button always shows when the product data was last copied, so you can tell at a glance how current the catalog is.

Right after a build, a refresh or a selection change, the app may show one of these messages above the sections of the Catalog tab.

Message What it means What to do
“1 picked item was skipped because it is not active or no longer exists.” (or the number of items) Some products are draft, archived, unlisted or deleted, so they’re left out of the catalog. Set the products to Active in Shopify and refresh, or remove them from the selection.
“1 product has no online store page, so its card is not clickable.” (or the number of products) These products aren’t available on your Online Store sales channel, so there’s no page to link to. Their cards still show. Make the products available on the Online Store sales channel in Shopify, then refresh.
“A catalog holds up to 250 products, so only the first 250 are included.” Your selection has more than 250 products. Products after the first 250 are left out. Pick fewer collections or products, or split them across more than one catalog.
“The products could not be updated” The refresh or change didn’t work, so the catalog was left as it was. The message says why, for example “Could not read your products, so the catalog was left as it was.” Wait a moment and try again.

If your store is password protected, cards still link to each product’s address on your store’s domain.
