Page turning and viewer tools
The Behaviour tab controls how pages move as they turn and which tools appear in the viewer. In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to Flipbooks, click the flipbook’s title, then click the Behaviour tab. Make your changes, watch a page turn in the preview, then click Save.
Page turn speed
Section titled “Page turn speed”Page turn speed (ms) is how long one page turn takes, in milliseconds. The default is 700 (0.7 seconds), and you can enter 0 to 5000. A lower number turns pages faster.
For pages that change instantly, choose No animation as the flip style on the General tab instead. See Title, flip style and start page.
Easing
Section titled “Easing”Easing is the motion curve of a page turn: whether the page moves at a steady pace, or speeds up and slows down along the way. The default is easeOutCubic.
| Option | How the page moves |
|---|---|
| linear | At the same speed from start to finish. |
| ease | Starts gently, speeds up, then slows at the end. |
| easeInQuad | Starts slowly and speeds up. |
| easeOutQuad, easeOutCubic, easeOutExpo | Starts fast and slows down as it lands. Quad slows down the least and Expo the most. |
| easeInOutQuad, easeInOutCubic | Starts and ends slowly, and moves fastest in the middle. Cubic is the stronger of the two. |
| easeOutBounce | Bounces a little as it lands. |
| easeOutElastic | Overshoots, then springs back into place. |
Page shape and depth
Section titled “Page shape and depth”| Setting | Range | Default | What it changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Curl | 0 to 1 | 0.8 | How far the page bends as it turns. |
| Shadow | 0 to 1 | 0.7 | How dark the shadow is as a page turns. |
| Elasticity | 0 to 1 | 0.5 | How springy the page feels as it settles into place. |
| Peek | 0 to 1 | 0.6 | How far a page corner lifts when a shopper points at it with a mouse. Enter 0 to turn this off. |
| Page thickness | 0 to 20 | 1.5 | How thick the stack of pages looks. |
Curl, Shadow, Elasticity and Peek change in steps of 0.1, and Page thickness in steps of 0.5. If you enter a number outside the range, the app saves the nearest allowed value.
These settings shape the default WebGL 3D page rendering style. With other flip styles, most of them have little or no visible effect.
