Title, flip style and start page
The General tab holds the basic settings every flipbook has. In Neo Product Catalog Flipbook, go to Flipbooks, click the flipbook’s title, then click the General tab. Make your changes and click Save.
Title is the flipbook’s name. It’s required and can be up to 200 characters. It shows in your Flipbooks list, in the theme block’s list of flipbooks, in the top bar of the lightbox, and in the browser tab when shoppers open the public link.
Changing the title doesn’t change the flipbook’s link. The link is set when the flipbook is created and stays the same.
Flip animation style
Section titled “Flip animation style”Flip animation style sets how shoppers move from one page to the next.
| Option | What shoppers see |
|---|---|
| WebGL 3D page rendering (default) | Pages curl like paper as they turn, with 3D depth and shadows. If a shopper’s device can’t show WebGL graphics, the viewer uses Regular 3D page rendering instead. |
| Regular 3D page rendering | Pages fold over in 3D, but stay flat instead of curling. |
| 2D page rendering | A flat fold: the turning page narrows as it crosses over, with a moving shadow and no 3D depth. |
| Scroll | Pages sit in one long column, one page wide, and shoppers scroll down through them. |
| Swipe | Pages sit side by side in a row. Shoppers swipe or scroll sideways, and each spread snaps into place. The buttons and keyboard still work. |
| No animation | The next pages appear instantly, with no movement. |
The preview switches style as soon as you pick one, so try a few. To fine-tune the motion, such as how far pages curl, use the Behaviour tab. See Page turning and viewer tools.
Book cover pages
Section titled “Book cover pages”First and last page stand alone, like a book cover is on by default. The first and last pages show on their own, like the front and back cover of a book, and the pages in between show in pairs.
Turn it off to show pages in pairs from the very first page. On phones, the viewer shows one page at a time, so this setting mostly changes how the flipbook looks on larger screens.
On a product catalog, this setting is separate from Show cover page on the Catalog tab, which decides whether the catalog has a cover page at all. See Design the cover.
Start page
Section titled “Start page”Start page is the page the flipbook opens on. The default is 1, the first page. For example, enter 5 to open the flipbook at page 5.
